Toshiba’s new TLP-X3000AU projector certainly isn’t a radical departure from the company’s original TLP-X3000U model, but those looking to add a little big screen action to their conference room will likely still find a few things to like, not the least of which is its new lower price. That now comes in at $1,119, which buys you a standard 1024 x 768 resolution, a less-than-impressive 400:1 contrast ratio, and a more than adequate 3,000 ANSI lumens. According to Toshiba, you should also get about 3,000 hours of use from the lamp in Eco-Mode, and you can foil potential thieves by taking advantage of the projector’s removable control panel and other theft prevention measures. If that suits, you should be able to get your hands on this one right now.
